OSF HealthCare and Abundant Health Acquisition (aha!) have announced a pilot partnership to launch two new aha! software plugins designed to easily deliver retail-like online experiences that help patients find the care they need quickly.
The aha! The Provider Data Connector (PDC) and Patient Education Connector (PEC) will enable OSF’s digital marketing and digital innovation development teams to quickly create and optimize an e-commerce-like shopping experience that translates in better search engine optimization, greater involvement and patient satisfaction. and greater volume of digital dating. This partnership expands OSF HealthCare and aha! collaboration, which began in 2019, with a dynamic new website to drive the “One OSF” initiative that delivers a consistent and personalized visitor experience, powered by Sitecore DXP.

The Provider Data Connector (PDC) unlocks provider data (basic and bio information, dating availability, high-quality photos and more) and allows internal content managers to use it strategically within their website content and directly within their main domain .
The Patient Education Plugin (PEC) alleviates the substantial effort of healthcare systems to obtain, write and maintain patient education content. Clinically reviewed content from trusted third parties such as WebMD Ignite can be seamlessly integrated as full articles or individual content segments to create new pieces of patient education.
When used together, the two plugins will enable OSF HealthCare’s marketing team to easily create and optimize web experiences that place the right providers in context with clinically approved and actionable content.
