Clearwater-based Creative Growth Services: A Business Success Story

A couple of decades ago, marketing a business involved printing a business card and brochure, securing a spot in the local Yellow Pages, and maybe a local radio or television ad. But the world of marketing has changed, much of it moved to the digital world of the Internet.

Digital marketing has helped countless businesses become hugely successful. However, the field of digital marketing is full of terms like search engine optimization, pay per click, algorithms, and a thousand other concepts that are unfamiliar to most people.

Digital marketing can also be a massive undertaking, especially when online marketing conventions seemingly change with the whims of the next online social media fad. Maria Ivana Ramírez knows the struggle. The Florida native navigated growing up overseas in Venezuela and Germany before launching an Amazon store in 2018. She drew on her multicultural background and experience as an executive at a multibillion-dollar Amazon business to establish the company of digital marketing by Clearwater Creative Growth Services in 2020.

Build a strong marketing foundation

“My mission is to take the burden off the business owner because he doesn’t have time to deal with complicated work like managing projects involved in digital marketing,” says Ramirez, who serves as CEO of Creative Growth Services. “That’s why people get burned. This also comes from my German background: being very organized and strategic. In Germany, it is very rude to waste someone’s time. Part of being polite is being organized.”

She is organized. He identifies nine different types of digital marketing, all of which his company offers as part of his Digital Foundation—a multifaceted marketing program he started and laid the foundation for the company he now runs.

“Our mission is to streamline and organize digital marketing for our clients and create a well-built foundation for them,” says Ramirez. “When you have a solid foundation, it’s much easier to have longevity in any of your digital marketing endeavors and endeavors.”

Offering a complete package

Ramírez points out that for a business to be successful, its marketing strategy must be uniform.

“We offer all the core digital marketing services as a complete package, and most marketing companies don’t, because it’s hard to do that and stay consistent,” he says.

These services include search engine optimization, email campaigns, strategic marketing research, branding and social media marketing. The suite of marketing services can be tailored to each company’s unique needs. For example, it says, “We offer a small business marketing campaign that focuses on social media and is more affordable for small businesses.”

Building a base may be one thing, but Ramirez believes it’s more than that. Fostering relationships is another key component of business success, something he learned from his years in the hospitality industry and gained from his years of training abroad.

“Germany is a great melting pot of people and cultures, which gave me the ability to connect with people more easily through marketing. I speak four languages: English, Spanish, German and Italian. I feel that this gave me my power in marketing because it’s about connecting with people and thinking outside the box.”

Make things work

He emphasized passion and experience in choosing his company’s team, a diverse group of professionals specializing in various digital marketing niches with at least 10 to 15 years of experience in their respective fields. fields Creative Growth Services has a physical location in Clearwater for certain face-to-face business functions, but is otherwise a hybrid company with professionals working mostly remotely.

The company has grown at a rapid pace, a meteoric rise that has been influenced in large part by word of mouth and the belief that some of Ramirez’s colleagues have had in it.

“Once I became an executive of this multi-billion dollar Amazon business, I learned all the knowledge and it was complete. I did inventory, pay-per-click, marketing and so many other things. The owner of the company, Mr. start promoting myself a little bit. I had 45 to 50 clients just by word of mouth.”

Making a name for yourself in Clearwater and beyond

Ramírez launched Creative Growth Services in February 2020, just weeks before the world-shaking COVID-19 pandemic swept through the United States.

“We were kind of the ‘baby COVID,’ and because we’re so organized and have a great tech team, it helped us survive,” he says.

Soon, it was winning government contracts and the company now serves various public and private sector entities. But finding the path from tech startup to marketing master meant looking to local resources for help.

“Tampa, St. Petersburg and Clearwater have many resources for startups, but because there are so many, it can be difficult to know which ones to use or which ones will help best.”

That’s why Ramirez turned to Clearwater Business SPARK, an initiative led by the AMPLIFY Clearwater Chamber of Commerce group that serves as a resource for local businesses and nonprofits seeking grants, funding, training, networking, marketing and educational opportunities.

“Clearwater SPARK really helps you with some of the essential things that you need to orient and orient yourself,” says Ramirez. “Personally, Clearwater SPARK referred me to Prospera, and then from there I got more and more referrals for both clients and resources to keep my business successful. I also pitched for AMPLIFY and plan to offer more.”

Prospera is a non-profit organization and member of the SPARK network that provides free bilingual assistance to Hispanic entrepreneurs and businesses.

Looking ahead, Ramirez sees a bright future for Creative Growth Services.

“We’re currently focusing on technology, a high emphasis,” says Ramirez. “We’re working on launching our software and planning how to introduce it to local small businesses. We want to continue to be known and make a name for ourselves by organizing the digital industry – get you results faster, save time and money and t “helps you focus on running the business while preventing burnout.”
