Charity Lawson’s The journey to find love on The Bachelorette continues with the July 10 episode, and one of the lucky men left is Sean McLaughlin. This week’s previews show Sean as one of the guys on the group’s date with Charity. The Barbie themed date will require the boys to dress up as different Kens and write a love song for their Barbie, Charity. Ahead of the episode, learn more about Sean with five facts below!

1. What does Sean McLaughlin do?
According to Sean, he works as a sales executive at Paycom in Tampa, Florida LinkedIn. He has held the position since August 2022. Previously, he was an outside sales representative at the company beginning in March 2021. Paycom sells HR and payroll software.

Sean’s previous employment was for one year and nine months at BrightEdge, a search engine optimization company that provided research for marketers. He held various positions in the company: Account Executive, Senior Sales Development Representative and Specialist Sales Development Representative. Before that, he interned at Barstool Sports in New York City for a year during college.
2. Where did Sean go to college?
Sean attended the University of Tampa from 2015 to 2016. He majored in finance at the university’s John H. Sykes College of Business. He then transferred to the Fordham University School of Business, where he graduated in 2019 with a degree in finance with a minor in economics.

3. Sean’s father is a local political figure
Sean’s father is Steve McLaughlin, who is the county executive of Rensselaer County in New York. Steve began his term in 2018. After years as a pilot and in the banking industry, Steve was elected to the New York State Assembly in 2010, then elected to the Executive of the county in 2017.

4. Sean is an owner
At age 25, Sean recently bought his first home, according to his ABC bio. by Sean Instagram The page reveals that he had the “grand opening” of his home on June 3, 2023. “The grand opening of the McLaughlin Ranch,” he wrote. “The tequila and beer are served cold and the steaks are medium rare.”
5. Sean is a dog dad
Sean is the proud father of a French bulldog named Bane. He even created one Instagram account for the dog Sean apparently got the dog in 2021, as that’s when he started posting on the page.
