GenAI can help fine-tune and optimize marketing strategies through A/B testing of multiple parameters, such as page layouts, ad copy, and SEO strategies, leveraging predictive analytics and informed recommendations in data to ensure higher ROI.

GenAI can empower marketing teams with search engine optimization (SEO). SEO increases the visibility of company websites and increases the traffic they receive through search engines. Since search engines are machines too, it stands to reason that AI could help find the path to success by suggesting efficient keywords to use in website content.

The use of technology in marketing generates a large volume of plain text, such as product reviews for an online retailer or movie summaries for an online cinema database. It can help massively reduce the time required for proofreading, providing grammatically correct and well-structured writing in a short period of time.

AI is effective at analyzing large data sets. Marketing teams can therefore ask GenAI tools like ChatGPT to analyze customer feedback to find common patterns that can then help them address the most common concerns and therefore prioritize the most common feedback and act on first place AI can help analyze specific market trends and help position the company or product more effectively.

Salesforce in its Generative AI Snapshot Series survey of over 1,000 marketers found:

● 51% of marketers currently use genAI, while 22% plan to use it very soon, which is almost three-quarters of marketers.
● 39%, which is more than a third, also said they do not know how to safely use generative AI. They raised concerns about its accuracy and emphasized the need for human oversight, as well as proper training on AI tools and the protection of trusted customer data, to leverage the technology effectively at work.
● Marketers in marketing areas such as content creation (76%) and copywriting (76%) are already using GenAI and it’s only a matter of time before we see more marketers fully adopt it.
● 53% of marketers agree that GenAI is a “game changer”. Some of the key reasons for this include its ability to transform the way we analyze data, personalize user messaging content, create marketing campaigns, and envision/optimize SEO strategy.
● These actions can continue seamlessly throughout the customer journey, with GenAI automating areas such as customer acquisition campaigns based on evolving customer preferences.

GenAI is already part of our lives, but it can’t (yet) replace humans or entire marketing teams. Obviously, it is able to help with certain tasks and it does it faster, only Excel helped easier accounting, but it never made the accountant’s job harder, unless the accountant didn’t know how to use Excel. When it comes to creativity, which are the main aspects of marketing, humans are irreplaceable.
