The Google Ads system is down; advertisers cannot access the interface

The Google Ads advertiser console and interface is currently down and will be down around 9:10am ET this morning. Advertisers are trying to log in to manage their accounts but are getting a 500 server status error.

What it seems There are a lot of complaints on Twitter, which I collected here, while showing complaints with screenshots of the error. Here is a screenshot:

I. The Google Ads Status Dashboard it’s currently showing that everything is fine, so we don’t currently have a time estimate to fix it. But I suspect Google knows and will keep us posted shortly.

Why we care If you’re worried, just know you’re not alone, not everyone can access the Google Ads system at the moment. Please try again in an hour or so and hopefully access will be restored.

postscript Google Ad Liasion posted at 10:15 a.m. ET about the issue, saying “We are investigating reports of a problem with Google Ads. We will provide more information shortly. Affected users are unable to access Google Ads.”
