Elon Musk announced today that Linda Yaccarino will be the next CEO of Twitter.
the ad moss he tweeted the news, adding that Yaccarino would “primarily focus on business operations.” Musk will focus on product design and new technologies. Musk added:
“We look forward to working with Linda to transform this platform into X, the app for everything.”
Twitter is technically no longer a company. It is officially known as X Corp. But we still don’t know exactly what the X platform will be.
Why we care Twitter under Musk has been a disaster at times. It will be worth seeing if having a new Twitter CEO can help repair some of the damage and attract advertisers, marketers and brands.
