What Google said. Google published this news in Twittersaying: “Last December, we made it easier to explore topics related to your search on mobile. It’s now available to all desktop users searching in English in the US. Related topics appear next to filters in the top of the search results page.”

Note that Google has been trying this on desktop for several months, so this may sound familiar to many of you.

Google also added to theirs old post about it, “Both topics and filters are displayed in the order our systems automatically determine is most useful for your specific query. If you don’t see a particular filter you want, you can find more by using “All Filters” option, which is available at the bottom of the row.”
