Amazon advertisers will soon be able to gain the ability to create AI-generated image and video assets for use in ad campaigns.
The company has confirmed that it is now building a team to provide these tools, The Information reported. There is no estimated timeline for when it will be available.

Amazon is diversifying its growing advertising business. Amazon’s advertising is expected to generate $38 billion in revenue by 2022. Its biggest offering is allowing merchants to gain greater visibility in search results. Other Amazon advertising efforts include:
Video ads on Freevee, its streaming video service, and Thursday Night Football on Prime Video. Audio ads on Amazon Music. Digital ads in Amazon Fresh grocery stores.
Join the AI arms race. Elsewhere, Google plans to bring generative AI to Google Ads and has already been testing a way to do so create RSA with AI. And Microsoft continues to test ads on the New Bing.
