Pet Supermarket, a specialty pet supply retailer with locations in the southeastern United States, has hired Chadwick Hamby as its new vice president of information technology (IT).
As VP of IT, Hamby will enhance Pet Supermarket’s continued integration into today’s digital environment to include increasing the retailer’s search engine optimization (SEO) presence, expanding retail operations electronic, the safeguarding of digital assets and ensuring that technologies across the enterprise are up to date.
“Chadwick is an industry-recognized leader who sets the pace in commerce and digital systems,” said McClard. “His expertise, particularly with pet care supply and demand, aligns with Pet Supermarket’s growth strategy and indicates his imminent success within the company.”
Hamby arrives Supermarket for pets equipped with decades of IT experience, company officials said. In his most recent role, Hamby was vice president of operations and e-commerce solutions at nutrition retailer GNC. Prior to that, he spent 11 years with PetSmart and leveraged his entry-level role as manager of supply chain solutions into his most recent role as director of digital operations.
