Ghana’s SEO community enhanced by Google Core Update

Google recently released a series of updates, the most significant of which was the basic upgrade.

The search engine releases these core updates about three times a year, when it makes significant changes to its algorithm and search system in order to provide better results to its users.

In addition to the core update, there was also the Google Useful Content Update and the Product Review Update, all of which were announced in the space of a month.

“Obviously we will continue to work hard to ensure that we give the best results to the Ghanaian players,” Ayodele promised.

The effects of this core update may have been greater because it occurred simultaneously with other relatively smaller updates (Useful Content Update and Product Review Update).

The Useful Content Update has a classifier that continuously patrols the Internet, separating useful content from non-useful content.

Google has said it will demote unnatural and unhelpful content that was written primarily for SEO purposes and promote content that puts users’ needs first.

The search engine has also consistently published product review guidelines, encouraging reviewers to be as descriptive and unbiased as possible. Google mandates product reviewers to demonstrate their expertise, authority, and trustworthiness on their pages.
