Google has removed the Google Search Console instructions improvement report. When Google stopped showing rich how-to results in search results, it said it would keep the reports “for now”, I guess that time is complete.
As a reminder, in August 2023, Google announced that it would remove rich How-to results from mobile search results. Google has then decided to completely remove rich results from instructions in both mobile search and desktop search in September 2023.
Now that it’s been a few months without showing rich results in Google Search, I’m guessing Google removed the report.
Jason Lax noticed this change yesterday and posted about it X“Even though it’s been gone from search results since January, How-to doesn’t seem to appear as a category under GSC Improvements anymore. How long before the FAQ disappears?”
