Google is experiencing some technical difficulties this morning with its news engine. Google News, the news tab in Google Search, Google Discover, Google Trends, and other Google services that use news posts are currently not showing results for many searchers.
The issue I think started at a couple of hours ago but now it’s getting worse and it’s happening for more and more google searchers.

Why we care This may lead to less traffic for news publishers, while Google works to fix these issues. Google News, the Google Search news tab, Google Discover, and Google Trends send a significant amount of traffic to publishers.
If you’re seeing a drop in traffic this morning, that might be the reason.
