Google leak shows it could be lying about its search algorithm

The viral post “All Eyes on Rafah” was probably generated by AI. The Instagram Stories post was shared, showing rows of tents stretching towards snowy mountains with the words “All eyes on Rafah” written in white tents in the center of the image. at least 47 million times.
Internet pundits have words about these Google leaks
“We’ve been lied to.”
That’s what search engine optimization (SEO) consultant Erfan Azimi said after discovering that Google’s search division may be using data to rank websites in a way that is at odds with its public statements Azimi was the internet expert who first reviewed and shared 2,500 pages of leaked codewhich Google confirmed were real to The Verge.
“‘Lie’ is harsh, but it’s the only accurate word used here,” said fellow SEO expert Mike King.
Other experts emphasized that the documents, which illustrate what data Google Search collects, do not conclusively show how it is using that information to score and rank search results, if at all. However, it’s validation for many of what they’ve been hearing for some time.
Inflation is catching up with McDonald’s executives
A series of viral posts and reports on social media have accused McDonald’s of raising their prices by up to 100%. To this, McDonald’s US President Joe Erlinger said: Hold my Coke.
“For a brand that proudly serves nearly 90 percent of the US population each year, we feel a responsibility to make sure the real facts are available,” Erlinger said in a open letter wednesday disputing these claims. The price increase is much closer to 40%, he added.
Case in point: In 2019, a Big Mac cost $4.39. Five years later, the hamburger costs $5.29, a 21% increase. French fries are up 44% over the same time period to $3.29 for a medium. Numbers aside, the growing sentiment is that customers feel retailers have pushed prices too hard: and we’ll just keep pulling back.
