Google has confirmed a “registration error” that affected product snippet reporting in the Google Search Console performance report. The issue occurred between May 15, 2024 and May 27, 2024 and resulted in an increase in clicks and impressions for the product snippets search appearance type in the search performance report and the impression overlay in the product snippet rich results report.
This is just a reporting issue and has no impact on actual Google Search rankings.
