Google is testing special treatment for Reddit snippets in Google search results. Google is adding vote counts and comments in various styles, in an effort to provide more information to the searcher about the Reddit thread.
how it looks They sent me screenshots of both Shubham Khatwani i Brodie Clark of this in action – here are some of those screenshots:

Why a special treatment. It’s not clear why these Reddit search results get special treatment. We know that Google signed a content agreement with Reddit a few months ago to get deeper access to its content. Google may be using this additional data to improve Reddit search results.
Of course, we also know that Reddit currently ranks incredibly well for anything and everything on Google Search, so it’s not like Reddit needs special treatment.
Why we care This is just one more change that could help Reddit see even more traffic from Google Search. Of course, this can also be a useful and relevant feature for users to see in Google Search results. But any special user interface changes to Google search results give the site that gets these treatments an advantage and likely result in a higher click-through rate.
