Google extended Performance Max to help merchants drive sales directly through online marketplaces such as Amazon.
The general picture. Maximum performance for the markets allows sellers to create Google ad campaigns that drive traffic to their product listings on third-party e-commerce platforms, without the need for a website or a Merchant Center account.
Why we care For sellers with established marketplace sales, this represents a potentially important new piece of their Google Ads strategy. With no need for a site or mall, the cost is much lower than most other types of Google Ads tactics (ie, a massive opportunity for small businesses on a budget).
How it works. After by connecting your Google Ads account to a supported marketplacetraders can launch fully automated top performing campaigns promoting its marketplace product catalog on Google’s advertising channels.
