Honestly, I also often find it natural to make a lot of anchor text links with words like “here” or “click here”. It depends on how I’m writing the sentence. For me, using keyword-rich anchor text is all about SEO, because I’ve been covering SEO for over 20 years…
But Google’s John Mueller responded: “These still seem like good guidelines, also for accessibility and UX reasons. They’re not requirements, so nuance is fine.”
Don’t be generic, be specific, as Google said:
So go ahead, use keyword rich anchor text.
