Everyone in the SEO community is talking about how John Mueller’s website is no longer appearing in Google search results. It seems to have been de-indexed and removed from Google entirely. The question is why? John Mueller is one of the most recognized spokespersons for Google Search on the Internet, so for his site, johnmu.comwith a bunch of geeky topics, to avoid appearing in Google Search results: SEOs wonder…
If you place an order from the site for [site:johnmu.com] – No results:
Of course, the first thing every SEO does is inspect it johnmu.com/robots.txt – So have fun going through this. Then look for other meta tags that might prevent them from being indexed.
We don’t have access to John’s Google Search Console to see if there was a manual action, like so many other sites received last week, but I doubt his site was hit by any…
