Google will issue credit refunds to advertisers after an overcharge error

Google will offer credit refunds to advertisers who have been overcharged due to a technical failure.

The bug affected a small number of Display and Video 360 campaigns that ran between July and December of last year.

Email notifications. Google sent emails to affected advertisers, notifying them of overcharges caused by the technical error, reports Ad age. While the search engine says the issue has been resolved, the tech giant plans to compensate advertisers for the overcharges by issuing credits.
