This year, the data savants at Reboot carefully examined golden ratio facial proximity, cranial shine factor, voice attractiveness and global search interest to produce an all-new ranking of the most bald men sexiest in the world, all backed by science.
Leaving nothing to chance, Reboot conducted a multivariate study to identify the sexiest bald men among the 20 bald celebrities they listed.
The study compared celebrities based on their net worth and height, golden ratio facial closeness, vocal attractiveness, and their “shirtless” or “nude” Internet photos.
The criteria were:
Net worth and height — Net worth in millions of US dollars and height in meters were obtained from Wikipedia. Luminance factor: Skull luminance was calculated by first transforming each celebrity’s head images to the standard RGB spectrum and then converting them to linear RGB values. From there, a luminance formula was applied. More than these technical aspects, however, what mattered was who wore their bald look best. Golden Ratio Facial Proximity: An anthropometric analysis was performed using computer vision algorithms to calculate the golden ratio geometric proximity for each celebrity’s face. Vocal attractiveness: Voice analysis was performed using Praat software, a computer software package for phonetic speech analysis. Search interest for “shirtless”/”naked”: Searches were made for these photos. Some did not have these photos.
To obtain the final score, weighted averages of the percentage ranks of the four variables were used to determine an overall score of 10.
