70% of SEO experts are not perfectionists, new survey shows / world of digital information

Search engine optimization has become a massive industry due to the fact that this is the kind of thing that can potentially end up allowing brands to push their websites to the top of the search engine rankings with all things considered and taken into account. Search engines are known to be picky, and targets often move whenever the company behind the search index makes changes to the algorithm. SEO experts need to be on the lookout to keep up with this ever-changing landscape.

Despite this being the case, a recent poll conducted on Twitter by Mary Amelie White showed that the vast majority of SEO professionals do not consider themselves perfectionists. About 69.8% of the nearly 500 SEO professionals who responded to this survey answered “No” to the question of whether or not they were perfectionists, and with all that said and now out of the way, it’s important to note that this is essential because of how many changes occur.

SEO professionals cannot afford to be perfectionists, as there are simply too many things they need to consider. In addition, there are several ways to implement SEO and there are numerous justifications for each technique, including how well it performs for the most part. While this is the case, it seems that more than 30% of people working in the SEO field, or more than 30.2% to be exact, are still perfectionists even though they can suffer from burnout if they keep sweating the small stuff .

It should be recognized that this is an ad hoc survey that only represents the opinions of a small subset of SEO experts who have come across this survey, either because they follow the person who posted it or because someone with who are connected has responded. Still, it shows that SEO professionals are more focused on results and leave perfection at the door because of how difficult it can be to achieve and how distracting their pursuit can be.
