1. Embrace reality.<\/h3>\n

Be honest and assess whether you are a flat growth or high growth company.<\/p>\n

2. Talk to each other.<\/h3>\n

One of the biggest wins you can get is meeting people and building relationships with them.<\/p>\n

Make sure you understand their level of understanding and be the teacher.<\/p>\n

3. Submit reports and make sure people read them.<\/h3>\n

Send reports at a regular cadence and make visuals easy to understand.<\/p>\n

Tell people they’re doing a good job.<\/p>\n

8. Chase people.<\/h3>\n

Be persistent, consistent, attentive and annoying.<\/p>\n

Once you start the conversation and other teams see how easy it is, they’ll understand how important it is to the business.<\/p>\n

Ultimately, the goal is to create content and experiences that capture the hearts and minds of your customers. Once this is done, the search engines will follow.<\/p>\n

The only algorithm that matters is your customers’ needs and wants.<\/p>\n

You need to create systems that facilitate teamwork so that your organization is agile, allowing you to connect with your users for long-term success.<\/p>\n
