Giving control to AI can set your campaigns down a path of irrelevant search queries and low-quality traffic.<\/p>\n<p>Success with automation starts with human guidance. In the application process, I included the question: <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;What&#8217;s the most interesting thing about you that isn&#8217;t on your resume?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>No fewer than 20 times, my recruiting team eliminated applicants with the same answer (with slight variations each time):<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe most interesting thing about me that doesn&#8217;t appear on my resume is my passion for astrophotography.  I love capturing the beauty of the night sky and sharing it with others as it allows me to combine my love of photography with my fascination with the universe.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While using generative AI for ideas or starting points can be a huge time saver, these tools produce the same results for everyone.  In advertising, your brand needs to stand out from your competition.<\/p>\n<p>Make sure your copy, content, and designs go through a rigorous human review process to avoid looking generic.  Never use AI to replicate copyrighted content.  You don&#8217;t want your brand to end up on a list of AI failures.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-use-detailed-prompts\">Use step-by-step directions<\/h3>\n<p>Receiving useful results from generative AI requires detailed instructions.
