Everyone in the SEO community is talking about how John Mueller’s website is no longer appearing in Google search results. It seems to have been de-indexed and removed from Google entirely. The question is why? John Mueller is one of the most recognized spokespersons for Google Search on the Internet, so for his site, johnmu.com<\/a>with a bunch of geeky topics, to avoid appearing in Google Search results: SEOs wonder\u2026<\/p>\n

If you place an order from the site for [site:johnmu.com<\/a>] – No results:<\/p>\n

Of course, the first thing every SEO does is inspect it johnmu.com\/robots.txt<\/a> – So have fun going through this. Then look for other meta tags that might prevent them from being indexed. <\/p>\n

We don’t have access to John’s Google Search Console to see if there was a manual action, like so many other sites received last week, but I doubt his site was hit by any\u2026<\/p>\n
