It doesn&#8217;t work when you add additional search operators to it, such as a site command to view a specific file type in a specific type.  Google has said it&#8217;s probably a bug and they&#8217;re working to get it back.<\/p>\n<p>If you search for PDF files in that specific location using the command [<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=site%3Aseroundtable.com+filetype%3Apdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">site:seroundtable.com filetype:pdf<\/a>] currently getting zero results:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/images.seroundtable.com\/google-filetype-command-site-not-working-1709118801.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/images.seroundtable.com\/google-filetype-command-site-not-working-1709118801.png\" style=\"max-width:100%\" alt=\"Google's file type command site is not working\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>But in general, if you&#8217;re trying to find PDF files or other file types for a specific query, this still works well.
