Instagram started testing two new features for brands and content creators:<\/p>\n

Background: An AI background editing tool for stories. Get Orders – Steam orders for feed and story posts.<\/p>\n

Backdrop explained. <\/strong>This new feature can automatically identify a main focus or allow you to choose one manually. Then remove the background and you can use the Background feature to choose a new background from a carousel of options or create one by entering a message, such as the “National Park” ad shown in the screenshot following screen:<\/p>\n

When you share the story, the message becomes a sticker that others can use.<\/p>\n

Starting.<\/strong> Lindsey Gamble, Associate Director of Influencer Innovation at Mavrck, shared a screenshot at threads<\/a> to show where the new background feature is on Instagram. Under the stickers menu, it appears between “Add your own” and “Add your templates”:<\/p>\n

In-stream orders<\/strong>. The “Get Orders” sticker, which was first branded on Threads by Satin\u00e9’s co-founder Ahmed Ghanem<\/a>, allows content creators and brands to create a product, link it to their story, and receive orders directly. This presents a potential avenue for generating orders through Instagram content without the need to set up an Instagram store.<\/p>\n

Why we care<\/strong>. With the background feature, marketers can try different backgrounds until they find the perfect one for their ads. Meanwhile, the “Get Orders” feature is a simple and free way to increase sales.<\/p>\n
