The BrightLocal Local RankFlux tool showed a significant increase in volatility on Thursday, and some local SEOs have confirmed seeing changes in their clients&#8217; rankings at that time.<\/p>\n<p>The BrightLocal <a href=\"https:\/\/www.brightlocal.com\/local-rankflux\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Local tool RankFlux<\/a> showed a Flux score of 5.92 last Thursday, here&#8217;s a screenshot:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/images.seroundtable.com\/bright-local-flux-rank-1704464825.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/images.seroundtable.com\/bright-local-flux-rank-1704464825.jpg\" style=\"max-width: 100%\" alt=\"Brilliant local stream ranking\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I asked if any local SEOs noticed changes in rankings, here are some of the responses:<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\" xml:lang=\"en\">Something is brewing in the premises\u2026<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve never seen a Local RankFlux score this high. <\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve checked our data and are pretty confident this is an accurate score. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/jIey1jXFC3\">https:\/\/t.co\/jIey1jXFC3<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Kristian Bannister (@bnnstr) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/bnnstr\/status\/1742954738394468625?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">January 4, 2024<\/a> <\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\" xml:lang=\"en\">We usually report on the 1st of every month, there were a lot of drops compared to last month.  The same on January 2 and 3.
