There has been some controversy over the name “parasite SEO” in the industry and Google doesn’t like the term either. So they said they will be renaming Parasite SEO to a new term in the near future.<\/p>\n
Danny Sullivan, the Google search link, wrote X<\/a>“We don’t use this term internally. I hope to see us assign a term to this type of activity in the near future, along with more guidance.”<\/p>\n Google previously told us that it does not use the term SEO parasite internally, but Google added that it has been taking steps to address these issues.<\/p>\n Danny Sullivan added: “We have some guidance on this type of activity on the next page, where the key definition implies that it is from a third party and “largely independent of the purpose of the main site or produced without close supervision or participation of the main site”.<\/p>\n Here is that post:<\/p>\n We do not use this term internally.
