Santa Monica-based marketing agency Hawke Media LLC has been expanding its reach through a series of new acquisitions and <\/span>Newly incorporated digital marketing company Lone Fir <\/span>Creative as a new subsidiary. Hawke Media, <\/span>which acquired digital marketing agencies Tribute Media and Leverage Marketing LLC earlier this year, said the deal closed early on. <\/span>in November for an undisclosed amount.<\/span><\/p>\n Hawke Media was founded by CEO Erik Huberman in 2014 and offers services such as email marketing, search engine optimization, influencer marketing and digital strategy tools. Clients include Sawtelle Masienda restaurant chain Crocs Inc., media company Barstool Sports and shoe retailer K-Swiss Inc.<\/span><\/p>\n “We’re not just adapting, we’re anticipating,” Huberman said in a statement. “By expanding our company, we are adding capabilities and synergistically amplifying our impact.”<\/span><\/p>\n Hawke Media clients can benefit <\/span>partnerships with companies like Meta Platforms Inc., Santa Monica-based SMS marketing <\/span>platform Community.com, FuturePay Inc., Hivo.co and Pinterest. In addition to its marketing agency, Hawke Media launched a capi<\/span>such a venture arm in 2016 called Hawke Ventures that invests in early-stage marketing, advertising <\/span>and e-commerce technology companies. The <\/span>The company closed a $25 million venture fund in March of last year. His current investments include software developer PostScript and City Center <\/span>customer jewelry company Gemist <\/span><\/p>\n Lone Fir is based in Gig Harbor, Washington and offers email marketing, website content optimization, brand strategy and inbound marketing services. Lone Fir’s current clients include Bloomberg LP, Archive 360 \u200b\u200band investment firm Fairway America LLC. Following the acquisition, Hawke Media said the Lone Fir team will remain.<\/span><\/p>\n “We’ve been able to bridge the gap between better communication with customers through a consistent process that always delivers,” Lone Fir CEO Tyler Pigott said in a statement. “Combining our efforts with Hawke Media allows us to make substantial advances within the (marketing) industry and … we couldn’t be more excited.”<\/span><\/p>\n
